Not wanting to focus on the loss... . hoping you will all send your good wishes to us here in Toronto on Sunday morning. Reality PS. It was Heronbird who told me about this family. bpdfamily works in all sorts of ways. So cool! Title: Re: The Borderline Walk Post by: trytrytry on May 24, 2013, 02:38:24 PM So funny Reality,
When I read the title of your thread, I was picturing a certain sort of stride, or "walk" that our loved ones may share! Title: Re: The Borderline Walk Post by: heronbird on May 24, 2013, 02:40:42 PM So great, they are doing some really good stuff to do with BPD

That is SO funny, a certain stride... . Thank you for telling me. It made me laugh. heronbird, You bet I am going... . I am doing the walk twice, once with the early risers and once with the others... . There are about 15 Will's Wayers walking as well. heronbird, even my h is walking. I was clever. I told his friends about it and then he found out the guys were coming, so he is going to walk with the guys... . male bonding or something... . I want to have Neil Young's song, She's Always Dancing, on the loudspeaker, but yikes, I am way zanier than the average and people don't know how to categorize me, which unnerves them. So I guess I will sing the song in my head. I love the name, The Borderline Walk. It does sound like a new dance. Like the cakewalk! griz and Vivek ananda, Thank you for walking with us. The world is changing for our darlings... . I thought about posting this... . there is good video on you tube about this family. Broke my heart... . Won't it be great if we could have a borderline walk in every major city across north america?
I am a canadian living in Texas but I use to live in Toronto... . I wish I was there to join this walk! Title: Re: The Borderline Walk Post by: heronbird on May 28, 2013, 03:00:47 AM This is so so good, and I love the name too.
Title: Re: The Borderline Walk Post by: Reality on May 28, 2013, 05:04:46 AM heronbird,
Maybe there could be a Borderline Walk in England. It was so cool! There were lots of young people wearing signs to explain facts about BPD and also strategies, quite educational. Other people who were walking saw the signs and were asking about BPD and the walk etc. T-shirts, an orange bag... . like a knapsack, not a tote... . signs printed and mounted on Bristol board, a place for the walk and advertising... . easy to do anywhere... . I wanted to say how I felt proud of you Reality and all the others on the walk too, and the organisers, all those in Will's Way - but especially you. Viv Title: Re: The Borderline Walk Post by: Reality on May 28, 2013, 09:35:37 PM Thank you, Vivek ananda, just walking through the doors that are opening... .
