Title: Good resource for divorce cases Post by: marbleloser on June 12, 2013, 09:24:57 AM I'm not sure if I've posted this before or not,but Google scholar is a good site to look up case law in your state.Courts have discretion of course, but when you can cite case law to the judge on previous rulings and appeals,it's a good tool to have in your corner.Courts don't usually want to stray from another courts ruling, because that would give a case for appeals.
For instance, one court ruled one way on a certain date and your court rules differently. The persons involved in the previous case could appeal based on the new ruling. www.scholar.google.com/ Click on the "legal documents" tab and you can search previous court rulings in your state or federal court rulings. |
