I'm not sure if I've posted this before or not,but Google scholar is a good site to look up case law in your state.Courts have discretion of course,but when you can cite case law to the judge on previous rulings and appeals,it's a good tool to have in your corner.Courts don't usually want to stray from another courts ruling,because that would give a case for appeals.

For instance,one court ruled one way on a certain date and your court rules differently.The persons involved in the previous case could appeal based on the new ruling.

Click on the "legal documents" tab and you can search previous court rulings in your state or federal court rulings.
