Please keep us and my BPD.d in thoughts and prayers. My d's birthmom died suddenly. We know little details at this point. It appears to be that she took her own life. She had multiple physical and mental health problems. She has not been well for a very long time. I had the opportunity to meet her before the birth of my daughter and we spent many hours together at the hospital when my daughter was born. Together, we planned the future and dreamed about our beautiful baby girl. We said good-bye, with intentions to meet again. That never happened for her and I, although my d. had reunited with her about 3 years ago. For years, I dreamed about what I was going to say to her. I missed my opportunity and I regret with all my heart to never have seen her again. I can only do it now... . outloud, in my heart, speaking to the sky with all hopes that she can hear me. Dear W. Thank you for the greatest gift I have ever received. Our baby girl is beautiful. Look at what we did together. We both gave her life... . we couldn't have done it without each other. I will be forever grateful. I will keep my promise to you... . to love our baby girl. I honor, respect and love you. Love you, yes. I wish you peaceful slumber. A beautiful soul has left, a wonderful being, who gave you so much joy. How happy she must have been knowing her daughter would have a good home. You gave each other the happy memories welcoming your daughter. Such a gift! I think of you, often, Being Mindful and now I will yearn for goodness to come from this tragic loss... . It is a reminder to all of us to take advantage of the time we have together while we can. My family lives far from me and when I talk to them on the phone I alway say I love you because you never know when or if you will get that chance again. I am sure dd's birth mom was happy to know her dd was with such a caring and loving person as yourself.

Your d's mom may have been in a bad place if she took her own life, but I know that the gift she gave to you in your d gave her some peace. May God hold you both in his hand in this difficult time.

I just found this thread... . Thinking of you in this difficult time of hurt for your dd... . It must be such a hard time for her - maybe, feeling like being abandoned all over again?
