Hi Sabina.

I'm sorry. It is awful to feel so helpless when intense family situations are going on and the distance akes you feel as though you cannot help.

My sister lives far away, yet in the same town as our parents. You know it's bad, when you dread a phone call from that region, assuming it is more bad news depicting an escalation, so to speak.

You could write letters to each individual letting them know of your loyalty and concern. That you are there for them no matter what. Just an idea.

Hugs to you.

 *welcome* sabina,

I'm glad you found us--this site has made a huge difference for many of us here.

Can you tell us more about your sister and her circumstances so we can better help and guide you?

How old is she?

Has she been diagnosed with BPD? If so, is she getting therapy/treatment?

Are your parents aware of her BPD? What are they doing to help/support her?

How much contact do you have with your sister now?

This video is a good general start... . We can suggest other things when we know a little more:

Wishing you peace,
