Title: Thoughts from NC members?
Post by: Orange on July 04, 2013, 01:45:49 PM
I've been NC with my uBPDm for 2 years now. I've encountered several enablers and en_'s throwing FOG at me, especially around Holidays as we all know well. Which brings me to recently.

I moved out of a roommate's house about 7 months ago, this was the last known place my uBPDm knew I lived. She randomly showed up to his house a few days ago asking if I live there. My roommate, knowing of the situation, was nice to her but was vague on her questioning on where I'm living. He did manage to let it slip it out where he "thinks" I'm living and now she knows the new city I'm in.

I also still remain close with my former stepfather. uBPDm called him a few days ago asking about me as well. Now, my former stepfather keeps trying to get me to call her and make amends because... . "she's still your mother." He keeps saying things like "your mother loves you whether you think so or not. she's like a wounded animal."

Clearly he's an en_ - and every time I tell him that I don't want to talk to her he doesn't back down and we end up nearly arguing. I'll usually just quickly change the subject.

Any advice on what I should do? Sit down and try having a heart-to-heart with him? Distance myself from him? Thoughts?

My thought is, tell him to stop bringing it up or you will end the conversation. JADEing doesn't work.

Wishing you peace,
