Title: I need your help
Post by: hellokitty4 on July 16, 2013, 06:47:31 AM
My BPD friend and I had a big discussion [finally] about what happened in my accident. After our talk it seemed like we were working through healing. Last night we were texting each other like normal and then out of nowhere she sent me this text. I don't know what to make of it... .

"I think of our conversation from yesterday and I think that maybe at this point it's a good idea to move on. You need a better relationship/friendship. A healthy friend and not as complicated like me. Someone who can appreciate you and deserves you better."

How do I respond to something like this? Just when I thought we were heading to some sort of normal after two weeks of her not speaking to me.

Please help me!

Woe is me.  Out comes the waif.

Here's a chance to validate her emotions.  What do you suppose someone who sends a message like this is feeling about themselves?

Feeling low and needs a boost? And someone to say it's going to be alright?
