Is it ever likely that a pwBPD could actually be happy with just one lover or do they always need more for the variety? One thing we all need to be careful of is describing the behaviors of pwBPD as "they do this or they do that". Although there are a number of hallmark BPD behaviors, pwBPD do not all act or feel alike. So, in answer to your question, not all pwBPD are promiscuous and need variety in partners. Some have had a serious of failed relationships, however, the relationships may not have been going on all at the same time! BTW, the same holds true for nons! Best Wishes, Val78 |
