Title: Wanted to share a Poem to my 8yr Son...
Post by: alonebuthappy on August 15, 2013, 02:34:13 PM
I have not posted much, but in silence have read many many many post on these forums.  I woke up in the middle of the night out of the blue, went to paper and this is what came out.

“the fun eye my SON”

JACKSON u r my LIGHT

that gives me SIGHT,

my EMPATHY

that grants me SYMPATHY.

JACKSON u r my STRENGTH

that provides me LENGTH,

which gives me REACH

to provide u TEACH.

JACKSON u r my SMILES

that grants me GUILE,

the illusive WISDOM

to my questioning KINGDOM.

JACKSON u r my HAPPINESS

when I feel CRAPPINESS,

because u bring LAUGHTER

that defuses their DISASTER.

JACKSON u r IT

without giving a FIT,

the ever pending STORM

u carry as NORM.

JACKSON u r my LIFE

without a STRIFE,

I’s of a HAWK

that refuse to BALK.

JACKSON u r my FLOWER

that never grows SOUR,

always delivering DEED

regardless of NEED.

JACKSON u r my SON

that eye learn FROM,

my little GUN

who grants my FUN.

JACKSON u r my JACKSON!

The guilt I have for leaving him behind is one of the biggest button's that my uBPDw-ex would use to get to me.  After spending a special day with him, I went to bed thinking and reminiscing the day as I drifted off to sleep... . just wanted to share it with you all.

We find strength in the littlest places, stay strong for yourself and the children!
