Title: Rethink recycle day
Post by: left4good on August 17, 2013, 08:00:08 AM
Getting back on the workout train. Slowing down the beer.  You can't not have a beer belly and still have the beer!  :)

Kids started school so That's exciting and I'm getting ready for my new apartment.

We still live together so she is still a big part of my life but we're both doing pretty good.

Yesterday was kind of a rethink recycle day.  She asked me some questions about couples therapy and stuff and it was our sons birthday. Some of the natural emotions came back for a bit.

Short back story... .

We live together.  I called it quits about 2 weeks ago when I had my fill of her prioritizing everyone else but her family.  This gripes me twofold.  One:  if you have small kids and would be step kids and a boyfriend at home I think making time for us is important. She doesn't. Two: her being out and displaying the same patterns as earlier in our relationship when I found out she was reeling a new guy in and had set up an entirely separate life with him and his kids really gets me going.  It was too much to handle so I said I'm done.

We are still living together because of our lease.

Yesterday... .

We hadn't really talked.  Both of us have deposits on separate apartments and She's started packing.  I get a text simple text about a comment I made the night before and that ignites a day long conversation.  From this is hard, I Don't trust you still to I still think You're a liar and I Don't trust you.  After we both got home she immediately gets ready and leaves for a friends house even though its our sons birthday.  I'm angry and confused and She's confused about my anger.

Today we got to lunch with the kids and then have a fairly normal day.

A bit confused.
