Title: Options for those w/o disposable income for therapy? Post by: frustrated b/f on August 19, 2013, 05:24:25 PM I read that many members have sought therapy at some point. I could really use the opportunity to speak with someone about what has unfolded in my life as well. Problem is, I'm a poor grad-student w/o any insurance. For those w/o disposable income and insurance, who do you speak with, how?

If not you should be able to find a sliding fee clinic that will base your cost on your income. Google is a good place to start. Also check with your county and state health and human services, or whatever it is called where you live.

Also check with Psychology Department or Department of Social Work. Sometimes they have counseling with a grad student/intern. Just my thoughts. Title: Re: Options for those w/o disposable income for therapy? Post by: frustrated b/f on August 20, 2013, 12:25:10 PM Thanks for the input
