Title: I came over to this board because I decided to stay with my BPD Post by: MatzlanGirl on September 24, 2013, 06:10:21 PM To those of you who have been following my story, this is going to sound down right crazy and nuts, after all that I've been thru with my wacky BPD partner, but, I have had a change of heart and decided to stay in my relationship with my BPD, and do my best to work on trying to "improve my relationship." I don't really want to go into the details of what happened to change my mind about leaving him. All I want to share is that something very personal, of a spiritual nature, very meaningful to him, relevant to his past childhood issues of abuse (that caused his BPD), happened within the past week to him, that I believe changed the whole course of his behavior. I believe he is now on a path of healing from all the hurts, wounds and pain of his childhood. I have seen a change in him that I know is genuine, since this "experience" happened to him. This experience he had, I believe also set our relationship on a different path! Can't explain it myself, but all that anger I was harboring against him for all I've been thru with him over the past few years, is GONE... .really GONE. Don't understand it, what happened, but it vanished into thin air! It's gone, and I no longer feel like I want to end the relationship anymore! Can you believe it?
I do want to say thank you to everyone who was there for me and supported me thru this very dark period of my life... .all of you who kept me going, day by day, with your words of wisdom, understanding and support! You don't really realize how much all of you played a role in "keeping me going" "keeping my spirits up" and giving me the will to keep living. Thank you all so much! I will never be able to thank you all enough for being there to support me! God bless you all! I am so happy that your anger has dissipated. You have indeed experienced a powerful transformation. When you are up to it, please do share more details so your experience can be an inspiration and hope for others.

Like you, we've all made the same choice as you for our own reasons. So, your choice doesn't sound crazy at all. :)

May I please ask you to try to give us more details about the nature of this personal spiritual experience he had last week, that abruptly changed him? Was there any type of spiritual technique utilized that others may also benefit from? Thank-You
