Title: BPD and high blood pressure..is there a link? Post by: Oliolioxenfree on October 16, 2013, 11:14:17 PM Today I walked into cvs and recalled that every time my BPDexbf had access to a blood pressure measuring device he took his blood pressure. It was Pretty routine. But he had unusually high blood pressure for someone in their mid thirties who ate healthy and exercised regularly. I remember reading that this was sometimes a physical manifestation of BPD. Has anyone else experienced their ex BPD partner that had high blood pressure that was unexplainable? When she was in her idealization phase with me, her blood pressure dropped dramatically. When she started her devaluation, it went back up and had to be controlled with medicine. She was in great shape and in her low 30s. I've read BP and BPD are definitely linked.

BP can vary for many reasons. The accurate measurement is an average, not during times of stress, coffee, etc... .My BPDex has unusually low BP. She had problems with anemia, too. But then she has a borderline eating disorder... . Title: Re: BPD and high blood pressure..is there a link? Post by: Learning_curve74 on October 17, 2013, 04:05:57 PM Yeah at one point my exBPDgf had very high bp even though she is in great shape and usually has very low bp. I'm pretty sure it was due to the stress she felt from the emotional turmoil in her head.
