Title: Had a dream
Post by: Rose Tiger on October 26, 2013, 09:15:30 AM
I think it somehow relates to here and the posters.  I was dreaming that the neighborhood was building new houses.  I saw one being built and I really liked it but thought I couldn't have it because my sisters wouldn't like it and wouldn't want to live in it.  Then I went into a finished building where all the neighbors were staying while their houses were being built.  In the kitchen were foods that everyone made for everyone to eat if they wanted it.  I thought how sweet people are to make good stuff to eat for all of us.  That was it.

Why should I care what my sisters thought of the house I wanted?  Why would they be living with me anyhow?  I thought maybe it isn't a house I'm building but a new life, a new way of living and of course my family wouldn't want that.  They want me to stay in the box of worthlessness so they can feel better about themselves.  I think the food respresented all the nice things, all the encouragement here in this community, helping each other out while we build our houses.

House is usually representative of you. (Or if a familiar home, then it's representative of say, your childhood or that person, for example, your childhood home is representative of your childhood.)

So I think your interpretation is pretty close to what a psychologist would say.
