Title: Talking
Post by: Tincup on December 05, 2013, 02:44:36 PM
I want to ask a general question.  Every time my ex would break up it would literally be over something small, and she would not talk about it at all.  I would get a text or an email that would say something along the lines of "you love X more than you love me".  X could be my kids, money, my own time, etc.  Each time I would say let's talk about this, to which she would say that there is nothing to talk about.

Does this sound like anyone else, or am I special :-)

Hey Tincup, Sure, this is quite familiar.  Anything that drew attention away from my BPDxW was treated as a threat.  Could be a college reunion, a call from my sister, a friend inviting me over to watch an NFL game, a business meeting, you name it.  In my view, it all stems from their fear of abandonment and core insecurities, which never really let up.  Lucky Jim
