Title: A Coincidence, Or Maybe Not? Post by: Willingtolearn on December 17, 2013, 02:21:52 PM My exBPDgf and i parted 18 months ago. I have remained NC since then. However for months i have been receiving "Silent Hang Up Calls" on my office telephone. These have actually began to get fewer over the last 3 months or so.
Anyway, my new gf is a former friend of my exBPDgf, and yesterday was my new gf birthday ( which my exBPDgf also knows it was) Late yesterday afternoon i got a silent hang up call on my office phone, the first one i have had for quite a a few weeks. My question is, was that phone call just a coincidence or was it possible done because it was my new gf birthday? Title: Re: A Coincidence, Or Maybe Not? Post by: santa on December 17, 2013, 02:28:43 PM There's really no way of knowing for sure unless you trace the number.
However, birthdays are a massive trigger for these BPD people. If I had to speculate, I'd say that it probably was her. Title: Re: A Coincidence, Or Maybe Not? Post by: Ironmanrises on December 17, 2013, 03:02:49 PM Has she done this to you before in a previous round? If so, very high probability that is her. I ask because my exUBPDgf did the same to me in NC period after she left me the first time. It was the telltale sign of her imminent return for round 2(i saw this only in hindsight). I have received similar texts/calls again since she left me again for the second time. Sure, it could be someone else, but see for me, that naively blinded me to the fact that it was her. Now that it has occurred again, I will not be so deceived. Seriously, who the f¥ck else is doing this when the only person to do this before was that very person. She is disordered. Her behavior will not alter. It didn't before, why would it now? It isn't like she all of a sudden is cured. Just my opinion.
