Title: the push pull at Christmas - so sad Post by: toomanytears on December 23, 2013, 05:22:02 PM My soon to be ex bought the kids (aged 21 and 26) red stockings filled with silly gifts and games they would have loved to play with him (only he can't handle games). He bought me my favourite perfume (now it makes me feel ill to look at it). Our friends, with whom I am staying over the break, a case of expensive wine. It's so sad. Just days ago he was threatening me with lawyers' letters and court saying he's run out of money and we have to sell out house asap. I weep for him. I can't be angry because I know he's hurting. It's so confusing.
