Title: A Christmas Present Was Quite Revealing. Post by: Willingtolearn on December 25, 2013, 03:31:51 PM Firstly can i wish all at BPD Family a very Happy Christmas.
I had a Christmas present today that i found quite interesting. It was a book on hand writing analysis Something in that book quite surprised me. When my exBPDgf use to write to me, when she spelt my name, the letter i in my name was always dotted with a slash rather than a dot. According to the book, dotting the letter i that way indicates that the writer may be emotionally unstable and have anger and relationship issues. Well i for one knows that is correct. However can hand writing analysis be that accurate? Title: Re: A Christmas Present Was Quite Revealing. According to the book, dotting the letter i that way indicates that the writer may be emotionally unstable and have anger and relationship issues. Well i for one knows that is correct. However can hand writing analysis be that accurate? Wow, that is creepy, huh? The funny thing about handwriting analysis is just how much it does reveal about a person. I work in the litigation industry where handwriting analysis is done routinely in some of our cases. As I sit and listen to the things experts say are revealed by a person's handwriting, and then listen to the stories of people who were close to them, it's eerie how often the two match up. So from my experience, I wouldn't say it's an exact science, and certainly can't be taken for gospel, but a lot of times it has been pretty spot-on. It can be incredibly insightful & tells a great deal about the author. He reckons he can tell a written lie from a written truth by the same person, by the small subconscious differences! I think handwriting analysis is so interesting, even have a book about it somewhere. When I saw the handwriting of pwBPD, it was revealing. Also friends... .and my own, too.
I used to print in all caps, which apparently means I didn't want people to know anything about me. snowman+= |
