Title: best xmas gift
Post by: mary93 on December 25, 2013, 09:17:05 PM
I am the happiest mother on earth right now. My BPD daughter showed up at my door for a visit today after no contact for 6 weeks! I was shocked (in a good way) to see her. We had a lovely visit and she stayed for about 9 1/2 hrs and it was great, we also went to visit my  mom in  her elder care home. I have been going to therapy and am on medication and she noticed a positive change in me. I wish that everyone could have this type of gift on xmas as it made me so happy. She confirmed that she will be starting therapy in January and is quite happy to be going. I thought I would share the good news and not only come on here with my bad news :)

Thanks all, greatly appreciated. My wish is that  all of us here on this board could have at least one day of joy with our kids during the holidays, as, as parents we have given so much.
