He said, I hope you have a better year this year than last. This is my last call. Take Care, bye. Why ? Any thoughts anyone, it has made me feel very unsafe. It's just an attempt to manipulate you. I'm sure he'll crack in a few days and try to contact you again. It's no big deal.

Anyway, I'm assuming he means he hopes you have a better 2014 than 2013. The best thing you can do is make sure 2014 is a great year, a year of healing, growth, fun, surrounded by supportive people, and if he's anything like my ex, a year without him in it. Feel free to go ahead and have a year like that. It probably won't be his last call, but take him at his word for now and hope it is. Take care of you!
