BPD Lyrics Post by: ucmeicu2 on January 04, 2014, 11:24:05 PM this song just screams the insanity of a BPD r/s. sometimes when i'm driving, the radio makes me cry and i have to pull over for a minute. i'm beginning to think most of these artists (or at least the writers) are either pwBPD or Nons... .

Phil Collins has basically made a fortune off it. Lol I've started noticing it a lot know that I know what BPD is. Just goes to show you that no matter who you are, there's always some BPD nut out there that can invade your life for awhile. Title: Re: Can You Listen to the Radio And Still Recover? BPD Lyrics Post by: thisyoungdad on January 05, 2014, 12:51:44 AM I had to stop listening to the radio for a long time because so many things reminded me of the "good" times we had and would then send me back into the cycle of wanting to be back with her, and that crazy emotional stuff that followed for me. Some of it may have been hitting too close to home cause at least a couple songs were from Phil Collins

I hear you, I have only just recently been able to listen to music again regularly, in the early stages of detatching I had to almost sheild myself from music, it seemed as if all the songs on all the stations were tragic love songs, at work sometimes id have to run off to the toilet and cry enough to let it out and not too much to fcuk up my face I have a song lately that pretty much sums up where Im at, hurting, but coming from a place of strength Sia- elastic heart And another one bites the dust Oh why can I not conquer love And I might have thought that we were one Enough to fight this war without weapons You did not break me Coz I got thickskin and an elastic heart But your blade it might be too sharp Im like a rubberband until you pull to hard And I might break if i move close And I wanted it, I wanted it so bad BUT THERE WERE SO MANY RED FLAGS Sorry I dont have the link but yup utube it baby! Title: Re: Can You Listen to the Radio And Still Recover? BPD Lyrics Post by: Awakecj on January 05, 2014, 09:45:48 AM I listen to the radio but it often causes me to cry because of related memories. I keep hoping the more I listen, the less the memories will sting.
Title: Re: Can You Listen to the Radio And Still Recover? BPD Lyrics Post by: Moonie75 on January 05, 2014, 11:36:17 AM I feel music is one of the most testing & triggering things to have in your world in a break up!
I'm a musician (drummer). I've recently played gigs where I've had to hold myself together, the bands timing together, and play best I can while triggering lyrics blast me on stage through 10k P.A system! I've had to play with my head down hoping nobody sees the tears in my eyes, while every single beat I play prompts a lyric that shoots my heart & soul to pieces! I hate listening to music at the moment. Then have to go play & get triggered in front of people while they enjoy a great night out at a gig! It's like a public crucifixion! :'( Title: Re: Can You Listen to the Radio And Still Recover? BPD Lyrics Post by: BeHappyAgain on January 05, 2014, 11:40:12 AM I'm a big Rolling Stones fan - basically because their songs are not the usual;
I'm so sad/ it was all my fault / Can't go on without you / Please forgive me 45rpm trype that so much pop music was when I was growing up. Brutal, un-romantic lyrics are more supportive while your crawling from the wreckage they don't make you want to cry/ curl up in a ball and die anyway. Title: Re: Can You Listen to the Radio And Still Recover? BPD Lyrics Post by: fromheeltoheal on January 05, 2014, 10:06:08 PM I say there's a lot of dysfunction in the world and breakāup songs have been a staple for as long as there's been music; they are hits in a misery loves company kinda way.
Borderline traits are human traits that exist on a continuum, with everyone exhibiting them to some degree at one time or another. To me it's about intensity: if someone exhibits several of the traits most of the time, with some intensity thrown in just for added strife, they may earn a full blown clinical diagnosis. As far as music goes, the one that reminds me of her is Bob Marley's Three Little Birds: Don't worry bout a thing Cuz every little thing gonna be alright That was my mantra when immersed in borderline hell. Didn't work, but did help me make everything alright by leaving. Title: Re: Can You Listen to the Radio And Still Recover?
