Title: Wow, just tried validation and it worked Post by: MissyM on January 18, 2014, 01:38:51 PM I saw my husband for a little bit today and we talked just a little. He is reading one of the books recommended to him about the come here go away game that he plays. This led me to validate him for reading the book and for doing this separation, which I greatly needed. He teared up and really softened. Now that I understand why separation is so terrifying for him, it is much easier to validate that. So I am really grateful for this site and the info on it.
