Title: getting out

... . of the house. Guys finished window this morning so I've been home most of the day. Went to Wally World. The clerk looked like a depressed robot. Not a word exchanged with the guy ahead of me (I kind of live in a ghettoish part of town). I smiled and greeted her friendly. Her morose mask slipped a bit and I got a weak smile. Wished her well and took off. Walking the parking lot, passed a tough guy in shades (me, too, with my iron maiden shirt and everything). Nodded, half smile and got a grin back. Felt better.

Got home and feeling the anxiety again. Pulling out the motorbike to take to work. Will be good. Don't feel like staying home or even going to pick up the kids. Going to the mens group tonight, but it felt depressing last time due to their problems. Might be the last time.

The lesson is if you're in a funk, do something different. Alter the pattern and your thoughts alter with it.
