Title: Ouch, that hurt
Post by: kennumber777 on January 23, 2014, 01:07:39 AM
My ex mother in-law posted a video on facebook of my xBPDw's daughter playing and dancing to some music... . I was taking care of her last year at this time because my ex was back with me. Although I am not the father of this child, I was starting to love her as my own... . seeing her on this video made me miss her very much. It hurts!

My ex wanted me to be the father since the biological father was not responsible ( drugs... . no job... )

Well, 6 months later, she went back with him... . and took her daughter with her.

     Ouch.

hi Kennumber... .

It does hurt. I agree... . better to stay away from FB... i ended up deactivating my account to precisely avoid those painful feelings you feel now.

the issue with social media, is that we get to see the parts people want to show, which tend to be the great parts and happy moments. My x would post wonderful stuff on FB... . most of them lies. She would said she had the most wonderful day, etc.etc. and i knew she was raging, or not having a good time.

I'm so sorry to hear that you saw that video, ken. It's very heartbreaking when children are involved because it's so easy to get attached to them even when they are not our own biological children.

Hang in there.
