Title: Humorous stuff they've done Post by: Happy1 on January 23, 2014, 12:45:57 PM Okay, time for a little levity. Maybe these aren't that humorous, because several of mine involve her erratic driving behavior.
1). Drive on a flat tire for so long that it was smoking and another motorist told her, "Hey, lady do you know you have a flat... !" Amazing, she was either in serious denial or disassociating while driving (more later). Of course, she wanted me to come change it, I refused as it had been flat twice in that week. Her answer, was then to get another ex to come change it instead. 2). Lay out in a bikini in Brooklyn's Prospect Park and let some creepy homeless guy lie right next to her and then put sun tan lotion on her when he asked. As you can imagine, this led to a sexual assault when he put his hands under her swimsuit. No clear sense of safety or appropriate boundaries with strangers. 3). Ram the back of a braking dump truck, totaling her car. Disassociating while driving (again). 4). Drive several blocks until faced with oncoming traffic at which time she then turned around. Okay, so maybe many of might be guilty of this one, but I attribute it to disassociating while driving, yet again. This woman has wrecked every car she's ever owned, all of which have been her fault. All the oil had leaked out somehow and when I drove it with no oil, it locked up the engine. I had to replace the entire engine. It was hugely expensive.
This type of thing rarely happens. Well, about 6 months into our relationship, my BPDex had the same thing happen to her car. It seemed like a coincidence at the time. Now that I know about BPD, I'm pretty sure she did it on purpose just to mirror me. When she's calm she drives carefully, but when she gets crazy she drives like a mad dog.
She has a huge need to fill her void as well as be validated, so she talks with anybody and everybody when she gets in the mood. I'm pretty sure she has hundreds of people in her phone contacts that she can't remember at all but had the intention of remaining in contact with. Gotta have that all important back up supply. |
