Title: Credit Worthy Post by: arn131arn on February 13, 2014, 03:03:57 AM Got home tonight. Had allot of mail.
Opened one on accident for my ex. She has applied for an Ann Taylor credit card. I was reading through it and noticed that she used my address when applying for her card. I can't possibly imagine her thinking she may come back one day, I really cannot. Yet, it's eerie thinking that ALL of her clothes are at my house, she refuses to let go and give me some kind of custody with my son (the last thing we have to iron out before being officially done), and now using my address as her address on credit application? I just found it odd, and since I'm not good at anything psychological or philosophical, I brought it here to the board. Any thoughts? By the way, she was denied. Current balances are too high. She must be spending money she doesn't have. Keeping up with my replacement, I'm sure... . so sad. One aspect of getting credit is stable residency, and if she has only been living where she is now for a few months, that may have been enough to deny her, which she may have been aware of. Just one possibility.
Not sure if she did it, but maybe you can go to the post office and fill out a change of address form to get her mail forwarded to her new address if you have it. There might come a time when you feel ready where you tell her that you are boxing up her stuff and will give her a timeframe to come and get it, otherwise you will give it to Good Will or something like that. Depends on how much it bothers you to have it there. Have you spoken with a lawyer about custody? You can get the ball rolling on that one and don't have to wait for her to do it. |
