Title: Court Date Monday... and Thursday.
Post by: ugghh on February 20, 2014, 02:02:56 PM
Just asking for your thoughts and prayers -- and any timely advice.

Monday I have hearing to deal with bogus Adult Abuse restraining order that my STBX had slapped on me ex parte after her last blowout with my S16 when he tried to retrieve some things from the house about 2 weeks ago.  Apparently I am like Fagin in Oliver Twist in directing actions of my teenage sons - as I sat quietly in the car waiting for him to come out of the house.  My L says this is one of most BS trumped orders he has seen in a long time.  However we do have a couple of aces in the hole.  Thankfully the uBPDw / STBX was very kind about sending overwhelming volumes of texts and email since I moved out.

Then if their if Justice is indeed just on Monday, we get to turn around and go back on Thursday for temp orders hearing, while she attempts to justify her projected monthly living costs of more than the two of us combined brought home, including the costs for the housekeeper that we have never had!

Sigh.

Wishing you the best of luck, we're all here for you!  I'll be doing this with my DH in another month to hopefully get permanent custody of SS13.  It's so nerve wracking.

This is why you keep receipts. If you're attorney is smart,he/she will ask for receipts for ALL of these living costs.

In turn,my cost of living has risen,so I've kept receipts to reflect all of that to counter any of this kind of action.
