Title: He won't leave - and he won't pay any bills either
Post by: Mcgddss on March 04, 2014, 11:00:33 AM
I am at the end of all of my ropes.

My uBPDh is divorcing me - after 10 years, I stood up to him so he tossed me to the curb.

Well, guess who has dragged his feet finding an apartment.

I was so excited because I thought he finally had found a place - and now he is telling the renter that it is not good enough.

What did the renter say?  They will release him from his lease.  What does that do to me?  I am left housing this horrible man.

Sorry to say horrible, but this is about me and this is the only place where I get to express my frustration.

I have two kids and they should not be suffering through this.

He is creating havoc everywhere, and I can't get away from it.

Just venting.

Maybe I'm just grasping, but I see a lot more men on here than women. There ARE male BPDS that are every bit as sinister as females.   Big hugs to you.  I just wanted to post here to validate you.

Can you file to get official possession and occupancy of the home?  Many courts support such petitions, reasoning that it would likely reduce risk of conflict and DV incidents and hasten the process of unwinding the marriage.

Yeah, I think this is the way to go too.

Find a lawyer if you can.  Put into your motion the reasons why you should not live together;  the reasons why it makes more sense for him to leave than for you to leave;  the schedule you think would be best for the kids - like most of the time with you but certain days with him;  and the reasons why you think this is urgent and should not be delayed til the divorce is final.

Living with someone who you have decided to divorce is very stressful, and it's not good for anybody to live in such stress for long.  The courts understand that and will probably help if your reasons are stated clearly.
