Title: Tears of Joy Post by: Kadee on April 01, 2014, 11:19:02 PM I was traveling these last couple of weeks. I've been separated for a year, and this was my first untethered trip. I found myself near (if not in) tears because I was so happy. I had such a great time, not catering to his every wish and command that I used to in order to keep the peace. I think this was the first vacation in decades that really was a holiday. I think I met true happiness. I need more of that. Now I know I can get there from here.

Personally, I love traveling on my own. No compromise, just go with what floats your boat. With side trips to the beach and national parks that were on my bucket list. I've not tried traveling alone yet... . more to come.
