Title: A book to give a BPD Mom? Post by: Coraline. on May 11, 2014, 08:35:31 PM I am re-considering writing a letter to my BPD Mom I have had NC with for 4 years. I don't want to but I am feeling pressured to (horrible reason to do it, I know)
I feel like if I do write her a letter I'm flat out telling her I know she had BPD and refuses to deal with it, so I want to give her a book recommendation that's intended FOR people with BPD. Honestly, I have mixed feelings about your plans. Can you say a bit more why you are feeling pressured to contact her after 4 years? Did something happened or is it bc of mother's day? Second is that we recommend normally not to tell someone that she or he might have BPD. It often goes like a boomerang back to too... . |
