Title: Counselor documenting UBPDDad's Anger Problems
Post by: Mcgddss on May 13, 2014, 11:23:25 AM
UBPDDad is allowed 50% custody by the horrible courts.

My d9 and s5 have been in counseling just over 2 months.

I wanted to find a private counselor, but in my area very few private counselors take insurance for children.

I ended up at the public health center.  The counselor meets with the children in school.  This way, UBPDDad can't say I picked a counselor - she is just the one that services their school.

Both children have reported to counselor that Dad gets angry.  D9 is acting like mom and trying to protect S5.

Met with counselor alone yesterday.  Counselor stated that I need to develop a safety plan for when they are with Dad.  She also went over what I need to do if either child reports Dad has hurt them and they have marks on their body.

I HATE THIS.  I hate that the state will let me save myself, but not my children.

I currently attend a family member support group.  I know this happens to others, but it is so hurtful today.
