Title: She refused to feed the kids PB&J sandwiches Post by: gary seven on June 02, 2014, 08:31:59 AM I've passed 1 professional hurdle, and am now back to doing everything at home. I have hired 2 sitters to cover the kids for Summer camp pick up and drop off.
On Saturday we took the kids swimming. We enjoyed about 2 hrs there, then had to get back since I can only see my T every other week and on Saturdays I don't have to deal with as much traffic. Right after I had the opportunity to meet a friend who lives in the neighborhood to get an hour off from all this. So as soon as we get home I call "first shower," and ask my spouse to make the kids lunch. Her: "I can't and I won't , you are going to have to do it." Me: Why? Her: "Because you have me in a program that is not dealing with my anxiety." Me: They are our kids and you refuse to feed them? Her: "Yes." Me: Fine, kids lets make some PB&J, and then I have to go out on an appointment. Her: "What are you making for me?" Me: Hope you like PB&J. I'm off to shower and then to see my friend. Be back by 5:30. Her: "who is going to watch the kids? did you hire a baby sitter? You can't expect me to possibly do this." Me: If they get into trouble they can call 911. They will probably crash after swimming anyway. Point is: just when you think things get stable, then they unravel. Here we go again. What kind of mother refuses, in front of her children, to make them a lunch meal? And I'm not even talking crown roast rack of lamb with those little paper crowns on each rib bone? It's peanut butter, jelly, bread, chips and water to drink. Just horrible for the kids. And I am getting really angry. WTD? my uBPD+dOCDxw want to control everything and do nothing. You're going to have to decide to be the best dad in the world or not. During my divorce, my X was asked why I prepared breakfast and not her, her response was "I used to cooking eggs, omelets, fresh fruit but the kids prefer frozen waffles and peanut butter" My L didn't follow up with "Why didn't prepare them that?" |
