I dated a person that had both traits, but diagnosed with NPD. But her behaviour is more HPD except that she never has sex and has issues with it. Well, as luck would have it, I am getting text from her again wanting to get together.

So NC, or run away? What shoudl I expect from HPD?

I dated a NPD for a bit, she dumped me by text and never said a word back when I texted her. NPD don't like to give closure. We were only together a couple dates though but still cold and self centered.

I don't know what to tell you, maybe just take things slow and trust your gut instinct. Be glad she likes you just see how it goes but take it SLOW?

Sounds like a no win for you. Seriously she has NPD and doesn't like sex? Where are the benefits here? I think you've been through enough. Be kind to yourself and go NC. You don't need this $hit... .   there are nice normal girls out there I'm sure of it... ,

The good news is that with my last romance, it only lasted 4 months, but I was just floored by her callousness and indifference for my well being. I had discovered that my friend who took her life, wanted to connect with me because I was always so nice to her and was there for her in her bad romances, and gave her advice. I did not know that she wanted perhaps more now that she had gone thru men who were NPD's and treated her poorly. I received a text the night before she hung herself thanking me for always being so sweet, but I had no idea. She was so beautiful inside and out, I wished I had reached out sooner. So getting dumped the same week by the other woman without any care for teh week I was having, was bad, but I have since realized that she was not a good fit and I should have never went out with her after I noticed some NPD traits that woudl indicate that she would have been a nightmare. The other is a well known fashion lady who is so arrogant, I still have nightmares. I guess I should just stay in the studio, write music, and flyfish them out of my life. My reason for getting back on bpdfamily is that I discovered I am a savior type,and keep attracting these abnormal types.

Yes saviour, rescuer, peacemaker... .We are all here under the banner of one of those ... .That's exactly why we're all here. To learn how to break that cycle. To learn how to recognise  red-flag for next time.

You've had a really bad month and I'm so happy you're back here and things are going ok ( well as good as possible under the circumstances). Take some time, follow your music passion, write a song for your departed friend, forgive yourself for what you did/ didn't do in recent months. Look forward. Look forward to your music festival and heal a bit. The right girl for you will turn up when you least expect it.

Ive been on dates with them.

They were incredibly annoying and shallow.  I have no attraction to them what so ever.

It was blatantly obvious it would be a shallow terrible relationship. red-flag

they typicaly a friend I find incredibly attractive... .the quiet one... .now I know that's the borderline lol red-flag
