Title: Real love on the radio
Post by: BacknthSaddle on July 07, 2014, 06:21:32 PM
A little different than what we normally do here, but I'd like people to listen to the podcast below. It's an interview with film critic Roger Ebert's late wife about a new documentary about him. I want people to listen because I think this is what true love sounds like. The way she talks about him, describes him, especially when he is I'll, is remarkable. Try to see if you could ever imagine your BPDxs describing you in this way after you've passed. Indeed, try to imagine them describing you or anyone else in any way other than a) a list of superficial characteristics or b) an imitation of you describe yourself.

This is beautiful, and it is out there. The way she talks about this man is what it means to "deserve someone." Think about whether your ex deserves you as you listen.

I agree. This is an example of what real love is.

No my "wife" doesn't deserve me.
