Title: Inspirational words from Bettie Page
Post by: Dolly rocker on July 14, 2014, 05:37:57 PM
So I was watching a documentary about Bettie Page and at some point she was very blunt yet rational about one of her divorces. She said:

"I realised all we had in common was movies, sex and hamburgers"

So she left him without a second thought!

I think it's the same with me and my ex. All we had in common was music, sex and wine. And those, my friends are not enough to keep a healthy relationship. To keep the flame alive. There's much more to life and love.

I quickly fell in love with my uBPDx with being put on a pedestal. What I learned from my horrible break-up is that I needed to love myself first & not find it in someone else.
