Title: LENS Therapy
Post by: Rose Tiger on July 16, 2014, 07:46:35 AM
Hi all, haven't been around for a while and stopping by to mention that LENS therapy has been helpful to me.  It is a type of brainwave therapy that helps with addictions, anxiety, etc etc.  I have worked through counselling talk therapy and doing very well but still have anxiety issues.  Mainly social anxiety and when the boss from hell would swoop in, panic attacks.

I started with the mindset of would this LENS therapy even be helpful, very cynical.  But after a few sessions, I am so much calmer and more at peace.  The boss from hell is still around but now I found her more comical than anything else and it doesn't send me into a vortex of panic anymore.  That's a great thing.  I'm still smoking (self medicating) but hoping that need will decrease as I continue the sessions.

I wanted to pass this on to you all that might be having a rough time dealing with PTSD, anxiety or addictions.

Cheers!
