Hi jdalexan

I'm sorry to hear it. Was she diagnosed with it or have you come to find out another way? If you were able to expand on the information it would be helpful to point you in a particular direction to assist you.

Hope to hear more information when you feel like you are ready

Ziggiddy

*welcome*  Hi, jdalexan. I'd like to join with Ziggiddy in welcoming you to our not-so-little family.

When a child suffers from BPD, not only is she unhappy and unhealthy, but often, so is everyone who loves her. This mental illness can severely affect everyone, creating drama and heartbreak, while also piling on the guilt and anxiety. The good news is that there are answers to these problems, and we are here to offer you the support and encouragement to help you find them. You'll see that there are things that can be done to avoid making things worse and begin to make them better. A great place to start is with this set of resources: What can a parent do? (https://bpdfamily.com/message_board/index.php?topic=114267.0)

The senior members on our Parenting a Son or Daughter Suffering from BPD (https://bpdfamily.com/message_board/index.php?board=4.0) discussion board share with, learn from and support each other; they'll take you under their wing and make you feel at home. We have lots of resources and information here to help you, so I'm very glad you've found us. I encourage you to keep reading and - as Ziggiddy says, when you're comfortable with sharing a bit more of your story - posting here. You're among understanding friends here, so Welcome Aboard!
