Title: On matters of the heart
Post by: Chasing_Ghosts on August 26, 2014, 10:39:59 PM
My heart is telling me to chase her and finally pursue her after a month of very LC. Im just afraid to do this as she told me initially after the breakup not to "push" and give her "space". Although i also do realize feelings never are a consistency as this is very much the definition of the disorder. I also take into account i could still very well be a trigger of guilt/shame due to the nature and recentness of the break-up. I feel ive given her space the best i can only responding to her texts and texting her once in an urgent matter affecting us both. Her contacting me yesterday triggered a stronger push to make the decision ive been tottering back and fourth between for weeks now. I want to take her to a concert that one of our favorite bands will be performing at. Whats the best way to gauge or approach her feelings/response to such a gesture? Or is it always better to let her re-engage? Just curious on any opinions.
