Title: leaving non functioning Post by: Henry II on August 28, 2014, 08:06:43 PM How am I going to leave a non functioning uBPDw of 21 years. She has turned into a hipochondriact. You name it she has it. She didn't used to be this way. Is now 61. Has stayed at home all that time. Used to be able to drive but now won't.
And allshe talks about is getting out there (without me) and strutting her stuff. Can go to the market withme and thats about it. She recycles constantly and dysregulates a lot more now because she is so unhappy. Even claimed she was suicidal last week. Looking for attention. I have tried in vain for years . I am an enabler. I take her to all her dodtors , T's accupuncter, PT . She is into all kinds of holistic stuff. Eats only grass fed meat and organic food. No seasoning . Doesn't know why she is this way. Wants to get help by going to depression place. Gunderson House is nearby but she won't go. Not aware of BPD. I've had enough. I am totally indifferent. She dysregulates with sugar consumption to self soove and actually gets drunk on the stuff. Sorry for ranting. Title: Re: leaving non functioning Post by: Mutt on September 02, 2014, 12:44:34 AM I'm sorry for the frustration with trying everything Henry II. Don't be hard on yourself. How are you an enabler when you would like her to get help at the Gunderson house? A caring husband perhaps concerned with the health of your spouse?
