Title: I forgot to take my Zoloft
Post by: Heartandsole on September 02, 2014, 11:14:34 AM
I forgot to take my Zoloft on a trip so I skipped 48 hours and then I was feeling a bit more depressed than normal.  I am wondering if anyone can relate or have knowledge about how these SSRI work.  It seems as thought because it takes a month or so to "build up" in you system (going on week four now), that there would not be a noticeable difference.

It could be me just ruminating on things or being a bit more idle over the long weekend.  Any thoughts or experiences?

i took zoloft briefly and it was horrible for me so i was switched to lexapro, which works well. if i miss a dose of the lexapro, i find myself getting angry (not more depressed) and i'm sure to take it as soon as i remembered that i forgot, then back on schedule the next day.
