Title: Support Groups by State & County Post by: Hope0807 on September 06, 2014, 07:35:13 PM I'm in Ocean County, NJ. I would travel pretty darn far to meet with a support group of BPD relationship survivors. I joined a local Nar-Anon group for loved ones who have been affected by drug abuse. I went to my first meeting about 5 weeks ago with very low expectations. I walked out feeling like the skies had finally opened. My heart felt light and hopeful for the very first time in months. They said the meetings' messages would translate into all areas of my life - and I have found that to be true. I look forward to those weekly meetings as if it were my very favorite dessert that I haven't had in a long, long time.
With the statistics of persons afflicted with NPD & BPD, the numbers of us walking wounded really could use a bit more. Does anyone know of any support groups for survivors of personality disordered persons? Also Codependents Anonymous (CODA) is a good group for most of us. I'm afraid if we went to Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous, it would be rife with pwBPD's
