Title: best phrase to get through the pain?
Post by: debyt on September 07, 2014, 07:18:56 PM
I would like to have a phrase I can tell myself when I am in turmoil. I have used "this too shall pass" when the boys were toddlers and that seemed to be good but "this too will pass" is not working for my BPD hubby.  I just end up saying to myself, "yeh, right... .bs."

I have roller coaster emotions right now since I can't leave until I have plan B in place successfully.  I have been using "it's not you, it's him" but that too isn't edifying for me... .any suggestions?

DebyT,

I know it's not much when you are hurting but just remember you are not alone. The people here do understand and care.
