Title: How to show court that ex has BPD Post by: antlen on September 09, 2014, 08:48:49 AM I am currently going through court to get access to see my daughter. My ex who has been diagnosed with BPD since 17 has been ordered to file a letter from her GP outlining her mental illness, however so far she has been unwilling to do this.
In the past week, Cafcass have drawn up a report stating that they found my ex to be very open about her diagnosis and has even told them she no longer receives treatment for her diagnosis. It appears to me that Cafcass have fallen prey to my ex's convincing and excellent ability to appear 'normal' when it matters. Has anyone been required to prove that their ex has BPD or has anyone provided the courts with checklist of what BPD is? |
