Title: broke NC and was met with rage Post by: pieceofme on September 29, 2014, 10:46:52 AM yesterday i broke 11 days NC to respond to my ex, who over the past 1.5 weeks, had made repeated (friendly) attempts to talk to me. when i finally responded, i was IMMEDIATELY met with rage and hateful words.
he claimed that i want to be with him, but i have never mentioned any such thing. in fact, in his last recycle attempt when he asked me to be his girlfriend again, i said no, explaining that i don't believe that's what he really wants. yet yesterday he maintained that i want to be with him. he said he doesn't want to be with me, doesn't want to talk to me, doesn't want anything to do with me! so i asked him to leave me alone, but he wouldn't stop harassing me. i am perplexed, because i've neither seen, nor spoken to him in over a week now. i hoped the time apart would have allowed his anger to subside. yet, yesterday he seemed determined to destroy me, to the point where it seemed like he was getting pleasure from it. does anyone have insight into this dynamic? |
