Title: Lies vs Truth (Helpful excercise)
Post by: Pieter2 on October 02, 2014, 02:31:29 AM
Guys and Gals,

Just a useful excercise to do, especially for those of you who still wonder if your BPDex is better off than you etc. after the relationship (Let's do this together) - Compare your truths to your exBPD's lies and you might see a completely new picture. I'll start:

- She was a good girlfriend who was exciting and great in bed. Lie;

- I treated her like gold and got NOTHING in return. Fact;

- She is happy with her new guy/guys/whatever. Lie;

- I'm better off without her. Fact;

- She is steady in her work and personal relationships and has many friends. Lie;

- I am employed as a manager in one of the largest investment banks in the world and have a fantastic family life with many friends whom I've known for MANY years. Fact;

- She has a squeaky clean past with nothing to hide. Lie;

- I have nothing to hide and am proud of my past. Fact;

- She came out of the relationship better than me. Fact;

- I came out of the mourning phase better than her just after the relationship. Fact;

- She is so much better than what she was with me. Lie;

- I look better than what I did then, am more mature, grounded and a better guy for any girl over all. Fact;

- She is going to make someone very happy one day. Lie;

- I am going to make someone very happy one day. Fact;

Now, does the picture look different to you?

I'm a tad confused.  So do we do this too?  Or does this list generally just relate to all of us?

Hi Algae

Maybe you also want to participate, yes. Or if they apply to you exactly the same, then that's cool too!
