Title: Milestone- 100 days NC
Post by: Lion Fire on October 02, 2014, 04:33:12 AM
Damn! I've worked hard for this!

Today is exactly 100 days since I finally decided to completely cut her out of my life.

the good news is that I feel so much better than I did that day. I'm not completely healed, she's still in my mind too much and I still feel the burn of resentment often but I've detached enough to forge a new path that is free from her direct influence.

I recommend NC if possible  :)

Blessings and strength to all

Congratulations Lion Fire! That is awesome!  You have every reason to be proud.

I am at day 61 NC. It has been hard, but I am getting better. Your post is encouraging. Now I want to hit that milestone too.

Thanks for posting this.

Congrats buddy! You should definitely be proud! Coming out of these kinds of relationships are extremely difficult. It seems the only people who understand are the ones going through the exact same thing. Keep up the good work! :)

Hi Lion Fire,

I've just joined this Board from the "Undecided's".

Great to know that it can be done. Just as you have proved.

Detaching emotionally is so hard to do, I know. I'm still trying to fathom out WHY?

Especially after being so emotionally hurt, after a 38 year relationship. Married 32 years.

We tread a very "heart sore" path, us Nons. At least we are NOT alone anymore.

You inspired me to-day, and made me feel a little bit better. Thank You for that.

Best wishes in finding YOUR own happiness. |iiii
