Title: breaking NC/LC in case of emergency? Post by: Tiepje3 on October 08, 2014, 11:36:32 AM I'm LC with my uBPD/NPDstbxh. We're in the middle of divorce proceedings. Most of his stuff is still here, which includes his very, very old small dog (17+ years old). He has not shown too much interest in the dog, but I know for a fact he was always crazy about this one. She made the Transatlantic move with him, when he came to live over here.
The dog is in the final stages of her life. She might drop dead any minute actually from old age. What if she does? Should I call him then? Or what if the dog is taken seriously ill? I don't want him in this house and witness his sorrow (he was always a softy towards her) or should I just let him know after the fact. But I don't want to stoop to his low, mean level. And this is 'just' a dog. What if something happens to any of my kids (his step kids). Should I inform him and break NC/LC? What do you do or what have you done in a case of emergency? |
