Title: receiving calls from random numbers
Post by: pieceofme on October 10, 2014, 06:12:54 PM
today is my 12th day NC. other than two texts on tuesday, i have not heard from my ex.

this week i've been taking steps to eliminate ways for him to contact me. today i've received multiple calls from various numbers with out of state area codes. no voicemails. what are the chances it's him? is my next step changing my number?

You can try checking where the number's coming from by searching it online.

Sometimes it's just telemarketers, even more so around voting season.

Could be your ex, though. If that's the case, change the # if you need to.

did you tell him not to contact you, or did you just go straight to no contact?

If it is him then I suggest you change your number immediately... .after I broke up with my ex I knew he was gnna bombard me with calls and texts messages so I blocked him and changed my number nd then I blocked him with my new number... .nd if you do change your number then make sure you only give it to people that you can trust and won't just give it out especially to ur ex... .hope this helps... .

the last we spoke, he raged at me for five hours. i repeatedly told him to leave me alone, but he wouldn't stop. i ended up having to block him that day to escape the conversation. i've since unblocked him. yesterday was the first day i've received calls from other numbers. he has done this (used fake numbers) once before (a few months ago).

i do suspect it's him, i just don't know what he possibly has to say especially because i've heard he has a new gf.

sometimes i'm afraid this nightmare will never end.
