Title: My final question, please help Post by: jammo1989 on October 20, 2014, 05:13:58 PM My ex is a complete Waif, she ticks every single box of the criteria, she has now been with her replacment just under 3 months, my ex is 24 and has 2 children, she doesnt work and relies on child benefits, and some other benefits (UK) it sounds like the new guy is pretty much living at hers (hes been there for 2 weeks) he doesnt have a job, and still lives at home with his mother. When taking all these things into consideration, does the Waif (low functioning) type react negatively to everything happening so fast, as in the fact that she sees him every day already trigger her faster? And the fact that he doesnt work, will that have any effect on her behaviour towards him? Im trying to learn and unserstand waif behaviour. Thank you so much for your time, i really appreciate it! If she's Waifish she may want rescue. Surely if shes with him every day she will be triggered a lot faster, my ex lived 6 hours away for the 1st year i was with her, i only saw her every 2-3 months and she lived with her ex husband (red flag) and she later moved to be 2 hours away, we lasted 2 years altogether. Im guessing her feeling smothered will come a lot sooner because of the amount of time shes spending with him. At the time I was injured and out of work she took care of me. She was a damn angel. When the tables turned and she was out if work and I was providing everything fell to pieces.
