Title: ridiculous breakup stories?
Post by: SickofMe on October 22, 2014, 05:45:02 AM
Okay, so even when it happened, I knew it was funny... .and was too shocked, initially, to feel hurt.

My 48 year old BF broke up with me by

a) giving me the silent treatment for about a week, after I confronted him about lying, and then for the win:

b)  sending me a private message on FB, telling me he was changing his relationship status and was too fried to talk about it.

Really?  Anyone else have a story like this?  It's really comical, mostly bc of our age, etc. but it didn't feel like it at the time.

Mine just straight up drove me away after her last "treat me special or lose me" ultimatum. Had to take a few days to think about if I was going to stay in this or not. When I contacted her to try and go to counseling to work it out, she said she was done and that she finally knew what she wanted. After a year and a half r/s. Whatever. She's 45 I was 50.

Mine does the Facebook status thing all the time. I've blocked most of my friends and family from seeing it.

In my instance there was no official breakup, just me catching her in bed with one of my friends. This was probably an hour or so after i had sex with her too. She spend the next 6 months chasing new supply and by that i mean sleeping with as many guys as she could in attempts to sucker one in, while simultaneously trying to get me back.

Healing would have been much quicker for me if i didn't have a child with this woman. The fact that she's raising my daughter and i have to give her a crapload of money every month is what is really very difficult for me to accept. These women's rights groups are always talking about equal rights and a woman's choice and this and that but when one gets pregnant out of wedlock the first thing they say is go after the father for money.
