Title: Dissociation info'

I saw this thread on the main board and found it really informative.

Not sure if you saw it but thought it was fascinating enough to put on 'our' board.

thanks for posting... .I don't think I have every read this article and I find is very interesting. I was just talking with my dd the other day about daydreaming and she was telling me how she can put herself into a kind a trance. She said it was like turning on and off a light. She was rather proud of this skill and maybe this is what helps her get through some tough times. She does this alot at school. Thanks for posting

I agree completely, especially about the negativity and constant complaining. Gloom and Doom all day every day. I keep trying to remind my BPDs that there ARE things in life to be thankful for and that not everyone or everything is out to get him.

Rarely makes an impact.  He believes I am just stupid.

This may be dissociation or paranoia. Regardless, it is depressing and annoying.
